Keysoft Solutions was delighted to sponsor an award at the 14th annual Highways Awards gala dinner held at the Lancaster, London. The purpose of the awards ceremony was to celebrate success within the Highways and Transportation industry whilst also providing a platform for those who are normally focussed on carrying out work on our highways, to share industry best practice.

Keysoft Solutions sponsored the category of Road Safety Scheme of the Year and Managing Director, Jeremy Ellis, announced the winner, with special guest host, Julia Bradbury, presenting the award. The jubilant winners were Scotland TranServ, Clearview Intelligence, Coeval and Transport Scotland, their project particularly impressed the judges, who commented:

“An innovative approach identifying the class of vehicle causing issues and specifically targeting that class.”

Scotland TranServ, on behalf of Transport Scotland identified a Killed and Serious Injured accident rate 1½ times higher than average on the A75 which connects the ferry port of Stranraer to the UK’s major motorway networks. Working with specialists Clearview Intelligence and Coeval, they developed a bespoke solution to reduce accidents and save lives.

A mention must also go to runners up in the category KeirWSP, Northamptonshire County Council, Renault UK, Northamptonshire Police and Adrian Flux Insurance with their CarKraft Driver Improvement Scheme.
